Holiday Inn Express Xi'an Qujiang South, an IHG Hotel

Breakfast: Rudimentary. This brand could take a leaf out of Ibis Styles' brand with so much more you could do for a basic yet great breakfast. The facility was great though, especially the kiddies corner. Walking location perfect, access by car frustrating if one doesn't know the area. The staff really did go out of their way to assist when they realised how annoyed and exasperated I was checking in. Great service. Friendly environment. My grandson of 6 preferred the entrance, kiddies corner and my room to the 5 star I had just moved from. However, I am pleased I extended my stay at the previous hotel and only stayed one night in this hotel. My expectations for an IHG brand were not met however now that I know, I may recommend it as a budget hotel.
